About Government and Military Certification Systems, Inc
Government and Military Certification Systems, Inc. ("GMCS") was founded with the goal of providing high quality third-party, independent certification services for government, military, and the private sector companies that serve these entities. Our company maintains a GSA Professional Services Schedule under Contract #47QRAA18D002C.

GMCS is a woman-owned small business serving organizations worldwide. All of our auditors are certified by either the International Registry of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and/or Exemplar Global.

GMCS is accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). IAS is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation that has been providing accreditation services since 1975. It is a member of Asia-Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC). The scope of IAS's membership in the IAF includes management system certification. 

Our clients include the US Departments of Defense (including Army, Marines, and Navy), Commerce, State, Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, and Energy.

Quality Policy Statement

Government and Military Certification Systems, Inc. ("GMCS") recognizes that a commitment to third-party registration quality and reporting is a key element of our success. GMCS is committed to comply with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements including those specified in our Quality Manual and in our ISO 17021 Manual.

This commitment includes continually improving the effectiveness of the GMCS quality management system.

To ensure that its stakeholders and customers are satisfied with the quality of the third-party certification services, GMCS will:

  • establish measurable quality objectives relating to timeliness, completeness, and accuracy for each audit report issued
  • monitor and measure these quality objectives and report the results to top management for the purpose of continual improvement.
  • ensure that all GMCS employees affecting the quality objectives are aware of their role achieving those objectives.
  • provide sufficient training to all GMCS staff affecting the quality objectives including training on the requirements of this Manual.

Our commitment to quality is fully endorsed by top management, and our success will be measured by improvement to the consistency of our third party certification process and improvement to our quality management system.
